Geese genocide

Earlier this week, in the cloak of the night, geese within 7 miles of an airport were herded into boxes and then executed in a mass gassing. How awful! I realize that geese flying into a plane is not a good thing but couldn't they find a better solution??? I had taken this photo of a geese family with their babies less than 2 weeks before. There aren't any geese in the park anymore. I'm still horrified!
