Tree Damage from Recent Twister

The tree was huge enough to span more than 4 yards across.   There were 4 major branches attached to the main trunk.   

All the views in the photos are approximately from the same prospective.

The light colored greenery toward the center is one of the fallen branches. 

The 2 splintered branches are what broke during the twister.   The 3rd branch was cut down and he's working on the 4th.

The man is such a pro.   He knew exactly what he's doing - how to climb the limbs and insure his safety (not even a minor slip), how to tie the ropes (to secure himself and the tree chunks being cut down), how much to cut at one time, where the branches will fall...  and he  does it all efficiently, safely and quickly without any hesitation or rest breaks.   It was impressive to watch how fast he took care of business considering what a tremendous job it was to chop down this a tree of this magnitude.

It took one full day to do this entire job.    One man to do all the tree cutting and lots of other men to assist clearing away furniture &, debris, the broken branches from other people yards,  chop/chip up all tree parts, pass tools, etc.   I could hear them joke that they were all going to sleep that night like they all took sleeping pills.  Considering how hard they worked, it'd be no wonder.
